Of Taos, For Taos, By Taos: rooted in equity, resilience, and inclusion

A pilot project by the Town of Taos and Pangea Design | Build, Chamisa Verde creates permanently affordable housing that is energy-efficient, community-rooted, and designed for long-term local ownership.
- 7 single-family homes
- 1,000 square feet and 900 square feet units / 3 bedrooms and 2 bedrooms

Why Deed-Restricted Housing?
To protect affordability for generations and ensure homes stay in the hands of the community.

These protections are written into the deed and monitored by Pangea and the Town of Taos.
